Health Ministry
The Health Ministry ensures the safety of our congregation by providing first aid during all church services and special events. We actively promote wellness through blood pressure screenings, CPR classes, annual Health Fairs, and providing current health information. Members are required to be CPR/AED certified and serve on a rotational basis. Meetings are every three months and as needed.
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
Believing firmly in the Power of Prayer, the name of Jesus, and the Word of God, this ministry's mission is to intercede on behalf of others as the Holy Spirit leads. We pray so that people are saved, lives are changed, and the Kingdom is advanced.
Lay Organization
The Lay Organization is dedicated to instilling in its members a love for the history, tradition, and principles of African Methodism. Its purpose is to advocate loyalty to church authority, encourage full support of the local church's programs, and provide systematic training for lay members concerning the goals of the Connectional Lay Organization.
Trustee Board
The Trustee Board holds the vital responsibility for the overall management and maintenance of all church property. Operating under the Pastor's direction, Trustees ensure the physical assets are developed and used to support the congregation's approved programs. They serve as faithful stewards of the property entrusted to the church's care. The Pastor serves as the Chairman of the Board.
